After picking Stephen Hill in the second round of the NFL draft, Rex Ryan was the radio here in NY, making lofty comparisons when talking about his new WR. When talking about Hill’s ability vs. the amount of catches he recorded in college, Rex had this to say:

“It kind of reminds me of when my dad took Keith Jackson when he was with the Eagles. I think Keith Jackson only had 19 catches, and I think he made the Pro Bowl his first year as a rookie. Hopefully that will happen here with Stephen.”

That rookie season, Keith Jackson caught 81 passes for 869 yards and 6 TDs.  It marked his first of six Pro Bowl appearances.

As Jets fans, we can only hope Stephen Hill has this type of impact on the Jets this season.
