The discipline for the Bounty scandal has been handed down, and it’s major.

The NFL has announced that Jonathan Vilma has been suspended for the entire 2012 season. It was said that he was responsible for the bounty on Brett Favre in 2009, putting up $10,000.

Here is the other discipline:
Anthony Hargrove suspended 8 games
Will Smith suspended 4 games
Scott Fujita suspended 3 games

The players can appeal within 3 days and can consult counsel. Vilma’s suspension begins immediately, while the others begin after the preseason.

I think we can say, statement made by the NFL.
