Here is a look at another one of the Jets UFDA signees. Spotlight, Donnie Fletcher, defensive back, Boston College.

He did not appear at the NFL combine.

He recorded 2 INTs in 2011 after leading the team with 5 in 2010.

He measures in at 6’0″  190 pounds.

PROS: He does have excellent ball instincts.  He comes up well to stop the run.

CONS:  He doesn’t have great closing or straight line speed, and is not effective in press coverage, which is an essential in the NFL.

He may have a tough time making this team, based on not being able to play in press coverage especially, but we wish him good luck in making the team.  The DB has a lot of room in it on the depth chart, and he will get his shot.

It’s not like the guy doesn’t have any ability.  Here is some video:
