The Jets Give Sanchez a Hill of a Present

I don’t think it was Mark Sanchez’s birthday yesterday, but the Jets finally decided to get him a present, in the form of a wide receiver that can fly. Stephen Hill.

Tim Tebow can’t hit this guy, as this is clearly done for Sanchez. All they have to do is protect him, and this guy will threaten the field in the vertical game.

“I’m ready to give the Jets fans something to scream about,” a euphoric Hill said at Radio City Music Hall.

Hill averaged 29.3 yards per catch last year, in contrast to Plaxico Burress, who had some invisible moments when the Jets were not in the red zone. He also can block, an essential to the ground and pound.

“I can definitely put somebody on the butt,” Hill said.

This was done to give Sanchez a new lease on life. Tim Tebow has a lot of belief, but you can’t will the ball into the receiver’s hands.

Mark should be doing the happy dance. He’s been given a lethal weapon.
