Our Thoughts on Ganaway and Griffin

The Jets closed out their 6th round picks, with the Baylor choices, Terrance Ganaway and Robert T Griffin.

These both guys should help. Ganaway will add depth to the running back spot. Although not a great pass receiver out of the backfield, he is a patient runner, with 1,547 yards and 21 TDs in his senior season. He also averaged 6.2 yards per carry. The Jets were high on him after visiting with him, and he will have the chance to make an impact, as they still aren’t sold on Shonn Greene carrying the load full time.

As I said before, Griffin is massive, at 336 pounds, and 6’6″. If he can make the jump to the next level, he will be a tough guy to beat at that size.

Bye bye to Wayne Hunter? We can only hope.
