It looks as if the Browns are trying to guarantee the availability of Trent Richardson.

The first trade of the night is in, the Vikings and Browns have swapped spots, the Browns to number 3, and the Vikings down to 4. The Vikings also received the Browns 4th, 5th and 7th round pick as well.

It is thought to be done to guarantee that they will get Richardson. In all likelihood, this means the end of the Jets trading up to get Richardson.
