Now that workouts have begun, Jeremy Kerley has received passes from both Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow. He had some interesting comments to make comparing the two.

“Different than Mark, different than Mark,” Kerley said at the NFL Pop-Up store on 41st today. “(Tebow’s) ball comes out a little bit stronger, but he’s accurate, he’s more accurate than what I thought he was going to be. But he’s a good dude, he has a great personality, he’ll bring a lot of personality to the team.”

When asked how much more velocity on a throw than Sanchez, Kerley said: “A LOT, a lot more velocity. No dis to Mark, he brings it, man.”

Kerley said he was shocked by the trade, but it was a “good shocked”.

This is what I was afraid of. There are going to be Sanchez supporters, and Tebow supporters. My concern is that bringing in a figure like Tebow is going to divide the team, and judging by Kerley’s remarks, this could be exactly what is happening.

Not a good road to travel.

Tebow throws harder than most ELITE QBs in the league because he’s stronger than most, that has always been the case since he was drafted. Tebow is a semi workout warrior with a lot of strength so it’s no surprise that in a throwing session, his passes would be stronger than a QB like Sanchez who has immensely more finesse and touch on his passes whereas Tebow only concentrates on how HARD it comes out. Think George Forman (Tebow) vs Ali (Sanchez) so to speak…..
Need more than STRENGTH to win a boxing match and you need more than STRENGTH to be a more complete, accurate QB in this league!
