Fansided Editors Mock Draft- Jets Select Andre Branch, DE Clemson

The editors of fansided recently did a one round mock draft, where we made the selection for the team we cover. View the results here:

As you see, we selected Andre Branch, DE from Clemson.

Mark Barron was available, but I really felt strongly about staying with the pass rusher with the pick, and both Ingram and Coples were gone.

As far as Courtney Upshaw, at the time we made the pick (a few days ago), I was reading that some scouts were down on Upshaw a bit.  They were saying that scouts are concerned about his short arms, and Branch is a bit bigger than Upshaw, so I decided to go with Branch.

Ultimately if the Jets stay at 16, I have since thought about it, and don’t think that the Jets will go with Branch.  I believe they will move up for Ingram or end up with Upshaw.

This was just my take.
