Should the Jets Trade Up for Trent Richardson?

With the draft rapidly approaching, think about this for the Jets…should they trade up to get RB Trent Richardson? Our friends at “Turn on the Jets” think so. Take a look:

I see the point, I just think the Jets have to be careful. Depending upon how far he falls, it could be come worth it. He certainly will be an elite running back, which the Jets need. He would make an impact immediately on the offensive side of the football.

Mike Tannenbaum has the philosophy of building for tomorrow. I fear that if they are trying to move up too far, they will lose too many draft picks in the future, which will obviously take away from the concept of planning for tomorrow.

I guess we will soon find out.
