Quantity vs Quality in the NFL Draft

Take a look at this post from our friends at, about the importance of both quantity and quality, in the NFL Draft

I agree to a point. It makes sense that the more picks you make, the better chance you have to choose players that will be successful in the NFL. You still have to be careful about quality though. If you take 10 Vernon Gholstons, it won’t work, quantity won’t help.

The point is legitimate though. If you have 10 guys chosen, and half make it, you have 5 contributors. By sheer math, you can’t lose the importance of quantity.
