The Jets made another signing adding a defensive end.

The Jets announced today, in addition to the DeAngelo Smith signing, that they have signed defensive end Jay Richardson. He last played in a game in 2010 for the Seahawks. He previously spent 3 years with the Raiders after being selected in the 5th round of the 2007 draft. He recorded 7 sacks over his three years with the team.

This isn’t expected to affect their draft strategy as they are still expected to go with a pass rusher on the first round.
