Jeff Saturday Signs 2 Year Deal with the Packers

The newest Green Bay Packer, Center Jeff Saturday. Picture couresty of the US Presswire.

I guess “Saturday Night’s All Right for Green Bay”. Sorry for the Elton John reference, but it seemed appropriate.

Center Jeff Saturday has signed a 2 year free agent contract, but surprisingly not to join Peyton Manning with the Denver Broncos. It’s with the Green Bay Packers, for 2 years, worth $7.75 million, including $4 million in 2012. 36 years old, Saturday brings great leadership to the Green Bay Packers, as well as his ability as a top flight center in this league. Aaron Rodgers and company will be happy with this acquisition.
