Dolphins Sign David Garrard

I guess the Dolphins figured out Plan B after losing out on Peyton Manning.

Tonight, the Dolphins have come to terms on a free agent contract with quarterback David Garrard, formerly of the Jacksonville Jaguars. He is slated to “compete” for the starting job with incumbent Matt Moore.

Garrard, you may recall, was introduced as the Jaguars’ starting quarterback just before week 1, only to learn he was being cut from the team just days after. Interesting choice as he hasn’t played a game in a year.
