The Jets are looking to improve their receiving corps once again. Already adding Chaz Schillens to the fold, a source is reporting that speedy wide receiver Donnie Avery, formerly of the Titans and Rams, for a visit with the team this week.

He would be a welcome addition as he is a talented guy. His most productive time was his 2 seasons with the Rams, with 100 catches for over 1200 yards receiving and 8 TDs. The Jets haven’t had a real speed threat to go down the field since they parted ways with Braylon Edwards, and Avery could fill that role brilliantly.
