Jets Re-Sign Bryan Thomas; Pierre Garcon to the Redskins

Let the fun begin.

NFL Free agency opened roughly 90 minutes ago, and the first big splash has been made.  The Redskins have signed former Colts WR Pierre Garcon to a 5 year, $42.5 million contract, with approximately $21.5 million guaranteed.

In Jets news, they have decided to bring back veteran defender Bryan Thomas, signing him to a 1 year deal.  Thomas, coming off season ending achilles injury, is the longest tenured Jet, drafted in 2002.  He will be starting his 11th season with the Green and White.
