The biggest WR left on the market has been signed, as expected.
Just released on nfl.com, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed former Chargers’ WR Vincent Jackson to a 5 year contract worth just under $56 million. $26 million was guaranteed, and Jackson is slated to make $26 million over the first two years in salary, and $36 over the final 3.
Jackson has spent his entire seven-year career with the San Diego Chargers, but the team declined to apply the franchise tag to the receiver for the second year in a row.
He has 272 career catches for 4,754 yards.
