Wes Welker gets delivery of Butterfinger bars for dropped pass

Nobody better lay a finger on Wes Welker’s Butterfingers.

Online pawnbroker, Pawngo.com dumped hundreds of Butterfinger candy bars in Boston’s opley Square on Tuesday with a note that read, “Thank you Wes Welker,” according to the Associated Press.

Welker dropped a pass towards the end of Super Bowl 42 which could have helped the New England Patriots defeat the New York Giants.  Apparently, Welker has been taking the drop, and 21-17 loss, hard.   This certainly won’t help.

Pawngo.com was given a citation from the city for commercial dumping.

Todd Hills, CEO of the company, said in a statement to the Boston Globe that he “thought Boston fans might at least get a laugh out of it.”
