Patriots release Tiquan Underwood day before Super Bowl

That has to hurt.

New England Patriots wide receiver Tiquan Underwood has been released a day before the Super Bowl.

The team activated defensive end Alex Silvestro from the team’s practice squad in place of Underwood. The undrafted rookie played in only one game all season.

Business is business.

The Boston Herald is reporting that Underwood’s release was not for disciplinary reasons and he did not do anything wrong.
