Todd Haley unlikely to join Jets

We heard the rumors and were waiting for it become reality; Tony Sparano and Todd Haley were joining forces to coach an offense this season.   And once former Dolphins head coach Sparano signed on with the New York Jets, it was only a matter of time before Haley joined him.

However, Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that the Jets and Haley came to a “mutual decision” in recent days that Haley will not join Sparano and the Jets this season.

With Sparano as the offensive coordinator, more familiar with the running game, it was believed that Haley would control the quarterback and passing game.

Not happening.

Wel that’s a bummer. Would have loved to see someone get Mark Sanchez into shape.
