Cowboys Dez Bryant detained by Miami police

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant was detained by police in South Beach after a Sunday night fight at a Miami nightclub.

A source with knowledge of the situation says that Bryant was not arrested or charged.

WFAA in Dallas reports that the Cowboys have not responded to the TV station’s request for comment.

Bryant, 23, was in the news last year for failing to re-pay several debts. He was also kicked out of a Dallas shopping mall for reportedly arguing with police.

The Cowboys first round draft pick in the 2010 NFL draft, he finished the 2011 season with 63 receptions for 958 yards and nine touchdowns.
