Saints Brees breaks Marino’s passing record

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees broke Dan Marino’s single-season passing yards record last night as the Saints defeated the Atlanta Falcons.

With 307 passing yards on Monday night, Brees now has 5,087 yards, 3 more yards than the record held by Marino since 1984.

Brees still has one more game to go and could be met by New England Patriots QB Tom Brady who is 103 yards short of 5,000.

Here’s a interesting scenario;  Brady, facing the Buffalo Bills next week, throws for 190 yards more than Brees next week and breaks Brees’ record.
