Halftime on Monday Night Football: 2 Field Goals, 2 Power Outages

It has been an interesting night at Candlestick Park in San Francisco.

The halftime score is 6-0 in favor of the Forty Niners, but that has not been the interesting part.

There have been 2 power outages so far that have delayed the game.  Before the game, a transformer exploded causing the power to go out, delaying the game 20 minutes.  Early in the 2nd quarter, the power went out again, causing a 16 minute delay.

Per the telecast, the stadium is the only power “customer” without power.  Multiple crews are on the site, hopefully they can get through the rest of the game.
