Rex Ryan takes a dig at the Giants over DeSean Jackson

New York Jets coach Rex Ryan is always good for a laugh.

When it comes to Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver/punt returner DeSean Jackson, it’s the Giants who are the brunt of it.

When asked about the dangers of punting to Jackson, Rex went into stand-up mode:

“I think there are people around here that might be able to answer that question better than us,” Ryan said with a smile.

Of course, Ryan was referring to Jackson’s 65-yard, game-winning punt return against the Giants last year.

“Let’s face it, he doesn’t make that return, Green Bay doesn’t even go to the playoffs last year so he is that kind of guy — game on the line, he can break it any time. The average doesn’t look that great this year but he’s one of those guys where you have to hold your breath every time he gets it. He is a special returner.”
