Jets Sign Gerald Alexander for Added Safety Depth

The Jets have added a player in response to Jim Leonhard’s injury.

The Jets have signed veteran safety Gerald Alexander, to take Jim’s spot on the roster.  Gerald played for one year with now Jets’ teammate Kyle Wilson, and has spent time with the Lions, the Panthers, the Dolphins, and the Jaguars in his four years in the NFL.

He must be a Jets fan, or at least a fan of the series “Hard Knocks”.  How do we know?  Here is Gerald’s response, via twitter, to his signing:

“Now let’s go get a F’n snack”

Welcome to New York.
