Will Darrelle Revis try a holdout again on Jets?

Wanna hear something really scary on this Halloween?

According to Pro Football Focus, New York Jets Darrelle Revis has allowed 10 receptions this season.

10 !!

In addition, he hasn’t allowed a touchdown, has 4 interceptions and has a 2.9 passer rating against him.

Just when you thought he couldn’t get any better, he does.

Of course this success will more likely come with a hefty price to pay by the Jets.  If you remember the big holdout from Revis last season, you will also remember that he signed a 4 year deal and will make $7.5 million in 2012, the third year of a four-year contract. (He averaged $16 million per year over 2010 and 2011 (including $25 million this season).

Scary to imagine him pulling another holdout after this season, but that’s life in the NFL and Revis knows he can squeeze the Jets for as much as possible.
