Jets Inch Closer to the Patriots

Maybe the Steelers did the Jets a favor in return for winning the AFC Championship game in January.

The Pittsburgh Steelers, heeding Rex Ryan’s cry at the beginning of the year, beat Tom Brady and the New England Patriots 25-17 this afternoon, bringing the Patriots record to 5-2, now tied with the Bills, only one game ahead of the 4-3 New York Jets.

Despite the Jets’ struggles, the race for the AFC East is not over yet.
