Bills Fitzpatrick signs long term contract

Ryan Fitzpatrick is about to become a very rich man.

Chris Mortenson of ESPN is reporting that Fitzpatrick and the Buffalo Bills have reached an agreement on a 6 year contract for $59 million, that includes $24 million in guaranteed money.

The 28 year old out of Harvard was drafted in the seventh round of the 2005 NFL draft by the St. Louis Rams.

He signed with the Bills as a free agent in 2009 after 2 seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals.

He was due to become a free agent after this season in which his salary was $3.195 million.
