Former Jets Mason calls Houston a “breath of fresh air”

Let the Jets trashing begin.

Former New York WR Derrick Mason seems pretty happy about being traded to the Houston Texans.

Calling it a ”breath of fresh air”, Mason is in a “situation where they want you & they believe in what you can do.”

Regardless of believing in a player, the rumor was that Mason couldn’t learn the Jets playbook.  Let’s see how Houston treats him.

Nick Scurfield of HoustonTexans.com reports that that Mason will play Sunday, and will be spending all his time learning the playbook until gametime.
