Jets Burress leaves practice with hamstring injury

New York Jets WR Plaxico Burress left practice early Thursday with tightness in his hamstring.

“Just being smart,” Burress said, careful with his words. “It just doesn’t feel right. It’s a little sore, so we did the smart thing and I had some limited work.”

Burress said the tightness came on after positional drills, so he took himself out., but expects to be fine for Sunday’s game in Baltimore.
