David Harris, Santonio Holmes, Eric Smith All Questionable For Sunday

The injury bug is nipping at the New York Jets.

David Harris, Santonio Holmes, and Eric Smith were all limited in practice on Friday, and are listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Jaguars.  David Harris would be an especially big loss, as the Jets will need their best run stopper against Maurice Jones-Drew.  Coach Rex Ryan, however, seems to be be more confident in Harris playing than the others.

Coach Rex Ryan says he feels “good about David playing. The other two guys, it’s questionable.”

We will soon find out about Santonio Holmes.  Holmes seems to think he will be ready to go, quoted Thursday saying “nothing to worry about”.  Rex played it coy when asked if the Jaguars should prepare as if Santonio Holmes would not play.

“That’s probably a good message to send to them,” Ryan quipped. “Absolutely.”
