Bears waive Gholston

Looks like it wasn’t just Rex Ryan who didn’t give Vernon Gholston a chance.

The sixth overall pick in the 2008 draft, who was dropped by the New York Jets after three miserable seasons,  just got waived by the Chicago Bears.

Once he clears waivers, Gholston will become a free agent.
