Braylon Edwards signs with 49ers

Former New York Jets WR Braylon Edwards has agreed to a 1 year deal worth $3.5 million with the San Francisco 49ers, approximately $500,000 more than the Jets gave to Plaxico Burress.

While Edwards was looking for a long-term deal, a 1 year deal at $3.5 million must be disappointing for him.

No word yet on if the Jets offered Edwards a contract.
