Texans to Sign Joseph, Out of Asomugha Race?

Jason La Cantora of www.nfl.com is reporting tonight that the Texans have agreed to terms with CB Johnathan Joseph.  Joseph spent his entire career to date with the Bengals, drafted 24th in the 2006 NFL draft.

This could be huge for Jets fans, as the Texans were rumored to be the leading candidate to sign Nnamdi Asomugha, considered to be the prize of the 2011 free agent class.  Does this give the great Mike Tannenbaum the opportunity to swoop in and give us an early Christmas present, Jets fans?  Stay tuned.
