Colts Tom Moore Joins New York Jets

Rex Ryan and Brian Schottenheimer just got company.  And they are beyond thrilled.

Former Indianapolis Colts Offensive Coordinator Tom Moore has joined the New York Jets in a consulting role.  Moore previously gave Ryan some pointers on red zone offense earlier in this offseason, and will mostly work from his home in South Carolina, where he will review game tapes and give the Jets staff observations.

“I just have so much respect for Rex [Ryan] and his staff and the organization. When he made the offer, I couldn’t refuse it,” Moore told the New York Post.

The Baltimore Ravens, who reportedly were also interested in Moore, did not comment on the Jets acquisition.
