Jets players open Camp
The New York Jets are ready for practice, lockout or not.
Approximately 40-45 players began a three day player organized minicamp on Monday in New Jersey, reports Rich Cimini of ESPN New York.
As opposed to “Jets West”, the camp led by QB Mark Sanchez, this version of “Jets East” (again led by Sanchez) was kept under wraps and away from the media.
While every player on the roster, including free agents, were invited, it is unknown whether free agent WRs Santonio Holmes and Braylon Edwards were present.
In addition to ‘Jets East’, Sanchez and some receivers have been working out at a NJ high school not far from the Jets’ facility in Florham Park, N.J.
