Patrick Peterson says him and Jets = Super Bowl

Has New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan found his dream player?

Talking to reporters at Chelsea Piers yesterday, Louisiana State CB Patrick Peterson said he’d be giddy to play with Ryan and the Jets.

“The Jets — I don’t know. If I go to the Jets, Super Bowl. If I’m going with coach Rex — Super Bowl. That’s all I can say, Super Bowl.”

While Peterson’s attitude would clearly fit in with this Jets team (Peterson is projected to go much higher than the Jets 30th pick), the Jets are still hurting from last years first round pick, CB Kyle Wilson, who never got comfortable and was used more in a nickel situation after the return of Darrelle Revis.
