Jets work out QB Andy Dalton

Are the New York Jets tired of Mark Sanchez, looking for a young backup or just trying to increase a trade potential?

It was reported that the Jets conducted a private, on-campus workout Friday with TCU QB Andy Dalton.

Owning the 30th pick, Dalton has been rumored to be a late first rounder. Maybe the Jets are looking for a team with an early second round pick in need of a QB to make them an offer.

Although, with a 40 year old backup QB in Mark Brunell and a free agent in backup Kellen Clemens, maybe the Jets do need another QB.

Below the Jets with a QB need are the Buffalo Bills (No. 34), Cincinnati Bengals (No. 35), Arizona Cardinals (No. 38) and Tennessee Titans (No. 39).
