Jets Coleman hurt in practice

As if the Jim Leonhard injury didn’t teach the New York Jets a lesson before a big game, now comes word that Nickback Drew Coleman hurt his knee on the final play of practice and was helped off the field, before the Jets playoff game against the New England Patriots on Sunday.

Ryan said he didn’t know the severity of the injury and Jets players said Coleman appeared to be in pain.

Coleman covers the slot receiver, which is a significant position this week. If Coleman can’t play, rookie Kyle Wilson would take his place in the nickel role.
