Merriman signs 2 year deal with Bills

ESPN’s Chris Mortensen is reporting that the Buffalo Bills and Shawne Merriman have reached an agreement on a new two-year deal, averaging $5.25 per year.  Merriman will receive $2.5 million guaranteed in 2011.

Mortensen believes that incentives based on playing time and performance could raise the average to about $8.75 million per year.
