Jets to bring 3 to Pro Bowl

Hmm… what exactly are the standards for the Pro Bowl.

The New York Jets don’t care; they will have 3 players there.

CB Darrelle Revis and C Nick Mangold were named starters on the AFC squad, while LT D’Brickashaw Ferguson made the team as a reserve.

Last season, the Jets also had three players voted in: Revis, Mangold and LG Alan Faneca with D’Brick and DE Shaun Ellis added alternatives.

Revis and Mangold have now each made the Pro Bowl three times, while this will be the second trip for Ferguson.  No vote for Brad Smith, arguably the only Jets player worthy of it this year.
