With the victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers, the New York Jets, at 10-4 control their own destiny for the Wild Card spot in the Playoffs. Currently tied with the Baltimore Ravens for the top Wild Card spot, the Ravens face the Browns and Bengals in the final two games.
For the Jets, with a two-game lead with two to play, a win either next Sunday at Chicago or in the season finale against the Buffalo Bills will clinch a playoff berth. (The San Diego Chargers, Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars are all 8-6, with the Colts or Jaguars moving on as the Division winner).
As for the Bears, they visit the Minnesota Vikings tonight with the chance to clinch the Division with a win. Given the short rest from a Monday Night game, the Bears may be inclined to rest some starters against the Jets if they do in fact clinch tonight.
