Steelers injury update

Updating a previous report, Pittsburgh Steelers TE Heath Miller was cleared to practice Friday and is probable for Sunday’s game against the New York Jets.

Safety Troy Polamalu is another story.  Polamalu did not practice on Friday and is doubtful for Sunday.  Ryan Mundy would take his place.   “I’m more than ready to step in,” Mundy said Friday. “It’s been a few weeks now that Troy’s been resting and I’ve been practicing with the first team, so I’m comfortable with the guys and if he’s not able to go on Sunday, then I’ll be ready.”

Topics: Heath Miller, Pittsburgh Steelers, Troy Polamalu
