An weird situation for the New York Giants has emerged because of the weather. Scheduled to fly into Minnesota for their Sunday game against the Vikings at 1pm, there is a severe winter storm that has moved into southern Minnesota.

Peter King of Sports Illustrated says the NFL still plans to have the game at 1pm, even though the Giants might not get to Minneapolis until early Sunday morning. Delta Airlines has cancelled all remaining flights — both arrivals and departures — for Saturday.
Stay tuned as to whether the Giants will be on the field for kickoff. In any event, this has to have an effect on the teams energy for tomorrows game. At 8-4, the Giants are tied with the Philadelphia Eagles for first place.
