Weather could be a factor for Jets vs. Patriots

Weather is expected to be a factor in tonight’s New York Jets vs. New England Patriots matchup with the National Weather Service predicting a temperature of about 27 degrees during the game, with wind blowing from the west at 15 mph, which will make it feel like 16 degrees.

A windy game would be welcome on both sides of the ball by the Jets.

The Jets defense would welcome a real windy game to limit Tom Brady’s effective passing .

The Jets offense would welcome a real windy game to help their running game dominate the clock and punish a Patriots defense that has given up about 70 more points than the Jets have this season.
