Brad Smith does it all

Brad Smith 14 – Bengals 10.

He did it all yesterday; QB, check;  RB, check; Kick return, check.

What you may missed, however, was during Smith’s kick return for a TD.  Smith lost his shoe around the 50 yard line.

No worries. Smith doesn’t need them.

“I was running and trying to stick my shoe back on,” Smith said with a big grin, “but after a while, I just said, ‘Forget it.”‘

Smith’s one-shoed, 89-yard kickoff return, along with his 53 yard TD run, helped the Jets defeat the Bengals 26-10.

“He’s a phenomenal athlete,” coach Rex Ryan said. “Everything we ask him to do, he does.”

“I think all that running in the backyard with no shoes on with my brother,” Smith said, “that helped.”
