Jets playing time on Sunday

From ESPN NY – Rich Cimini

The New York Jets played 70 snaps on offense, and they didn’t beat the Houston Texans Sunday until the 70th. Here’s the unofficial breakdown of playing time:

RUNNING BACKS
LaDainian Tomlinson — 47/70
Shonn Greene — 24/70

FULLBACKS
Tony Richardson — 30/70
John Conner — 5/70

WIDE RECEIVERS
Braylon Edwards — 64/70
Santonio Holmes — 57/70
Brad Smith — 24/70
Patrick Turner — 7/70

TIGHT ENDS
Dustin Keller — 61/70
Ben Hartsock — 21/70
Matt Mulligan — 2/70

Analysis: Obviously, Smith’s playing time soared without Jerricho Cotchery (groin). The injury to RT Damien Woody (knee) forced them to juggle some personnel packages … OT Wayne Hunter, usually a tackle-eligible/tight end in the “jumbo” package, had to play the final three quarters at right tackle … The Jets used a two-back offense on approximately 50% of the snaps … WR Patrick Turner saw his most extensive action.
