Redskins sign McNabb to 5 year deal

Here’s an interesting one.

ESPN’s Michael Smith is reporting that the Washington Redskins have signed Donovan McNabb to a five-year, $78 million extension with a reported $40 million guaranteed.

Having just been benched with under 2 minutes to play in favor of Rex Grossman to getting $40 million in guaranteed money, something is not right here.

Dan Snyder never ceases to amaze, does he?

The 34 year old McNabb has thrown seven touchdowns against eight interceptions and has completed a lackluster 57.4% of his passes this season, his first with Washington.
