Dolphins ready for a green game

In anticipation for its first Sunday night appearance since the league began its tradition in 2006, the Miami Dolphins are cleaning up their act.
Literally. The team announced it will cover the dirt infield from the Marlins game, replacing it with grass.

- Linebacker Channing Crowder (groin) has been limited by injury and inactive all season. He came back to practice Wednesday but is still not expected to play.

- Here’s a cool one: The Dolphins picked up tight end Mickey Shuler Jr. off waivers Thursday. Mickey Shuler Sr. played tight end from 1978-89 for the Jets. Minnesota took the younger Shuler in the seventh round of this year’s draft out of Penn State, the same school for which his father played.
