Brunell wins backup QB job and other news

Mark Brunell has been announced as the backup to Mark Sanchez, leaving Kellen Clemens as the 3rd QB on the team.

The Jets will finish up camp in Cortland on Saturday before heading to the Meadowlands for their Monday night matchup against the Giants.

Santonio Holmes has been great in camp and missing him for the first 4 weeks of the season will be tough, but he will be a great addition.

CB Dwight Lowery has asked the coaches to allow Rookie Kyle Wilson to play with the first team during practice, and Wilson has been doing a solid job.

On the offensive line front, Matt Slauson has been taking the reps with the first team over Rookie Vladimir Ducasse
