Bob Glauber of Newsday is reporting that the Jets have offered a monster deal to CB Darrelle Revis.
Instead of paying Revis over $16 million per season (more than Raiders cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha), the Jets have reportedly added six years to Revis’ existing deal, a total package that, when added to the remaining $21 million Revis is owed would approach $100 million or more.
The deal would average around $12 million per season, and would keep Revis with the Jets until he is 33.
There is no word on how much is guaranteed which pretty much means everything to an NFL player.
